Reading Looking For New Coach

After seven years at the school Scott Thamann has stepped down as the head football coach at Reading, according to athletic director Pete Muehlenkamp.

Muehlenkamp is taking applications for the job through January 29th and hopes to have a candidate in place for February’s school board meeting.

Reading finished 5-5 last year, including 3-4 inside Cincinnati Hills League play. The Blue Devils made the postseason six times in seven years to start the millennium, but haven’t been back to the playoffs since 2006.

Thamannn went 26-34 as the Blue Devils head coach.
