By Greg Shoemaker | Featured Analyst

Tippecanoe RB Jacob Hall will continue his career at Brown in the Ivy League.

On Wednesday, the best of the best from the CBC Kenton were rewarded with the opportunity to play college football starting next fall. Starting with the league’s top team the 12-1 Tippecanoe Red Devils their stars made huge commitments. CBC Kenton Defensive Player of the Year Alex Demers will play for Miami (OH) next year. Teammate and 2013 Division III 1st Team All-Ohio selection running back Jacob Hall will go Ivy and attend Brown in Rhode Island. Hall finished his senior year with 2,021 yards and 34 total touchdowns (33 rushing, one receiving). He found the end zone 77 times during his career.

The 2012 CBC Kenton Offensive Player of the Year, Christian Evans of Tecumseh will get to experience his family watching plenty of him playing one county away at Urbana. Injuries slowed Evans down as a senior but he was still able to finish his career with more than 2,300 yards and 31 touchdowns rushing.

The Stebbins Indians had three players commit to really good situations for their futures. The 6-foot-3, 230 pound linebacker Jarred Brumfield is off to Athens to the green and white of Ohio University. Lineman Tyler Smith and KeShawn Stafford will head north to Division II Ashland. Stafford will move from quarterback to receiver and defensive back at the next level.

KeShawn Stafford Stebbins WR/DB 5-11/165 Ashland Stafford was a first team All-Central Buckeye Conference honoree and was named honorable mention All-Southwest Ohio…was an all-area selection…as a senior, had over 1,200 all-purpose yards and scored 20 touchdowns.

Also signing with a Division II squad is strong safety Cody Rollins of Springfield Shawnee who is off to Tiffin. At 6-foot-2 and 195 pounds Rollins has tremendous upside with a big body to grow into in the secondary.
