By Greg Shoemaker | Featured Analyst

Tippecanoe (1-0) picked up where they left off last season as one of the top teams in Division III, Region 10. The Red Devils opened 2014 with a resounding 49-13 win over Graham.

With an offense known for pounding the football on the ground Tipp showed diversity versus the Falcons. Quarterback Zack Blair threw for career highs of 246 yards and four touchdown passes. The senior’s previous best day was a 103 yards passing.

Classmate Austin Clack a Special Mention All-Ohio performer at linebacker as junior showcased his talents on the other side of the ball. Clack found the endzone three times (twice rushing, ones receiving) while picking up 48 yards on 12 carries and catching two passes for 57 more yards. On defense he was his stellar self with a game high 15 tackles (six solo), two forced fumbles and a fumble recovery.
