Mount Healthy 40, Harrison 26

Mount Healthy put 26 first-quarter points on the board as they rolled to a key Southwest Ohio Conference win on the road over Harrison, 40-26.

Quarterback David Montgomery threw for 126 yards and two touchdowns and tallied another 237 yards and got two additional scores on the ground. Running back Hjavier Pitts added another two rushing scores to lead the Owls to the win.

Jake Weber passed for 245 yards and two TD’s in a losing effort for Harrison. Mount Healthy moves to 7-0 and remains the only team perfect thus far in conference play. The Wildcats have now lost two straight contests as they fall to 2-1 inside the SWOC.

Harrison will look to snap the losing streak next week as they travel to Ross. Mount Healthy will be traveling to take on Marion Harding.
